By Pastor Chris Simmons

Know always that God’s Grace, Mercy, and Peace are yours through Jesus Christ.

  • What is something you were told or read that you will never forget?

  • What tips or tricks do you have for remembering things?

Isaiah 65:16-17
16…
the former troubles are forgotten
and are hidden from my eyes.
17 “For behold, I create new heavens
    and a new earth,
and the former things shall not be remembered
    or come into mind.

God promises to be forgetful… and for us that is a good thing! He will not remember the sins of our past, we are forgiven in Christ Jesus. Behold, everyday we are created new, we celebrate the new and good things of God, we celebrate the new beings we are in Jesus. So always remember Jesus, and do not let the sins of your past tether you down. God does not remember them, why should you?

Prayer

Lord God, we are thankful and grateful that you choose to be forgetful. Because of Jesus and HIs gift of forgiveness from the cross, we can walk in a new life every day. Help us to carry and share that message with others, reminding them of the good of God. We pray this all in your name Jesus. Amen.
